Terms & Conditions
Where relevant and when applicable, Grafx Digital Technologies Limited will be
referred to as “Grafx”. These terms and conditions relate to the web site www.grafx.co.uk/workshop.
Apple Warranty
Grafx provides a repair service for both warranty and non-warranty Apple
products.
Grafx is an independent company and holds the status as an Apple Authorised
Service Provider (AASP). This allows Grafx to purchase parts directly from
Apple.
The Grafx on-line returns service does not affect in any way your product
warranty with Apple.
For warranty repairs a proof of purchase will be required if your product has
not been registered correctly with Apple.
Delivery
Grafx ask their customers to read and confirm understanding of the “Packaging Tips” guide. Should products be returned in unsuitable packaging, Grafx retains the
right not to proceed with any work. Items will be photographed in the state
they arrive, and the owner will be contacted.
Grafx cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to a product in transit
to or from our offices. Grafx recommend that insurance be taken out when
sending a package for repair.
Accessories
Grafx does not require keyboards, mice, monitors or power cables to perform a
repair to a computer. If accessories are supplied please state clearly on all
paperwork relating to your repair. Any additional delivery costs resulting from
accessories being supplied will be the responsibility of the customer.
Payment
Grafx provide a secure on-line payment service for goods being returned for
repair. The initial payment is for confirmation and diagnosis of the reported
fault. This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
Should further work or parts be required to complete a repair, the customer will
be contacted direct with a quotation.
A product will not be returned until full payment has been received.
Computer Data
We cannot guarantee against data loss and strongly recommend that all data is
backed up before sending in your machine.
Only when requested will Grafx take a back-up of data. When requested we will
make every effort to protect your data however we cannot guarantee the safe
transfer of your data to our back-up drives and therefore cannot be held
responsible in any circumstance for lost data.
Should we not be able to back-up your data when requested, we will contact you
direct before any further work takes place.
Collection
Any products not collected within 90 days of repair will be disposed of.
